Q: WHAT AGE DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAG FOOTBALL?
A: Dexter children entering grades 1-6 may participate in flag football. We break out teams by 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th grades.

A: No, there are no tryouts. Evaluations will take place to ensure kids are placed appropriately on teams.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL MY CHILD NEED FOR FLAG FOOTBALL?
A: A jersey, flags and mouthguard will be provided by DYFL. Everything will be ready by the first game and distributed then. Highly recommend players to wear cleats and an athletic cup.

A: A child is eligible to play Flag Football for DYFL if they are a resident of Dexter or attend Dexter Community Schools.
